I prefer either Ziploc style bags, Freezer bags, and Tupperware style containers. You can recycle containers from butters and spreads, GLASS JARS recycle into the kitchen very well. I believe in keeping things tightly closed to avoid the food from picking up fridge and freezer smells, or causing them. That's what is great about recycling, if it looks like a science experiment, or can just throw the whole thing without opening!
