Project Plan
In an era of fast changing technologies, short product cycle, and keen competition in a global economy, organizations all over the world place a lot of emphasis on project management. Timely completion of projects with optimal use of resources not only influences the profitability of Fusis, but also brings competitive advantages to the customer. We have formulated a set of procedures and methods as per international standards, which are followed for planning, and execution of software projects. The following diagram depicts the core of the PM process at Fusis.Project Initiation:Any new project requires the whole organization to work as a team. The sole aim of this stage of project management is to get the maximum input and commitment from all the concerned departments. The process lines up software development activities from beginning to ensure smooth functioning throughout the project life cycle. The core process is to initiate and define the scope of the work.Project Planning:Planning is a major activity of a project. Our experience over the years has shown that time spent in planning has given significant returns. Our software process lays a lot of stress on planning.Execution Processes:This is the stage of the project where all the components identified in the project plan come together in practice. This process aims to accomplish the tasks of the project by setting project resources at work. It includes a number of core and facilitating processes.Controlling Process:Project controlling process supports the project planning and schedule process, by providing adequate visibility into actual progress results against planned. The sole aim is to provide the valuable input to achieve set target in the project management plan. It focuses on taking preventive or corrective action as per requirement to ensure timely completion of the project maintaining quality standards.Closing Process:Project closure is a very significant activity, as it reflects the total sum of all the effort made in the project. This covers all the post-release activities starting from request for closing till the end of the safe archival of all the project related information. This process ensures closing activities are pre-planned and executed as per the schedule.

Checklists and Templates
A set of interrelated activities for achieving a prespecified result that meets project objectives.
For the Define Activities process in project management, you typically need detailed project scope documentation, breakdown of work packages from the WBS, resource availability and skill sets, project constraints and risks, and dependencies among activities. This information helps in identifying and defining the specific activities required to meet the project objectives.
- Closing processes begin soon after the initiating processes end and continue until the end of the project. - initiating activities are high at the beginning of a project and wind down as other process groups begin.
To receive formal confirmation that the project or phase has ended To tie up any loose ends related to project deliverables and activities. To obtain authorization to close the project or phase -Formally closing a project or phase -Finalizing all project activities
To perform the Define Activities process in project management, you typically need the project scope statement, work breakdown structure (WBS), project schedule constraints, and any relevant historical data or lessons learned from similar projects.
Projects are the process to create a unique result with limited resources and time. Project management is the combination of methods, tools and techniques to plan, execute, control and close the project.
The activities of the Closing process group reach their peak as the Monitoring and Controlling processes are ending The Initiating process group increases steadily in activity at the beginning of the project, and starts to wind down as the Planning process group shows rapid increase in activity
Enterprise enviromental factors typically constrain a project's processes Existing organizational process assets can be tailored for use in a specific project
