To unlock Nobunaga, you must first unlock Oichi by completing Kotaro and Keiji's story line. Then, finish her story line to unlock her Green Route (alternative route). Follow the Green route, and in the end of the route you will have the Siege of Karasu Castle (VS Hideyaki/Tenkai) mission. The player must defeat Tenkai (using the hidden left route). After that, the Incident at Honno-Ji mission will appear. Defeat Nobunaga in the mission. Return to any cleared character, except Oichi. There should be a Grey route in the end of one of their story line(Check under Sengoku History), where they must face Oichi (do not choose other route where you can face Oichi earlier). After beating Oichi, Tenkai will appear and the player must also defeat him. Then, the Incident at Honno-Ji mission will appear, and then the player must defeat Nobunaga once again. Then he will be unlocked.

To count to 5 in Japanese: Ichi (1), Ni (2), San (3), Chi (4), and Go (5). (I also know that "roku" is 7 and "gu" is 10.) I also know that "baka" means stupid, "arigato" means thank you, and "domo arigato atashimas" means thank you very much.
