The Australian rowing crew won two gold medals in coxless fours at the 1992 Games in Barcelona and the 1996 Games in Atlanta.
The coxless four was won by Australia's "Oarsome Foursome" who went on to win the gold medal at the 1992 Olympics. The 1990 crew was James Tompkins, Sam Patten, Mike McKay and Nick Green. Andrew Cooper replaced Sam for the 1992 Olympics.
The jingle was written specifically for the ad but it was based on the 1941 big band song "Chatanooga Choo Choo" by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren. It was sung in the ad by the multiple olympic gold medal winning Australian rowing team "The Oarsome Foursome". The ad ran on Australian television from 1994 to 2004. Fresh picked from a tree, it tastes so good to me!
