YES, They are all people.
14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Thde Bible says that you are noty to be unequally yoked.
No. Evolution had not been developed as a concept back then. It does say not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers.
The word "yoked" is in the King James Version of the Bible 1 time. It is in 1 verse, 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
II Corinthians 6:14, " Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness." Being unequally yoked with anyone, not only a mate for life, is not good. You will only have problems that most of the time cannot be resolved. This includes marriage, business partnerships and the such. As the Scripture tells us there is no fellowship and no communion. I personally have seen the bad results of this many times. When you marry, if you are a Christian be sure he/she is a Christian. Also take heed that some Christians have problems with other Christian of different denominations.
No. A true Christian will not become unequally yoked to an unbeliever. The Bible repeatedly warns against such practises.
Short answer is "Yes" 2 Corinthians 6 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
The actual definition is "differently yoked". Reading AROUND the passage will give us the sense of the meaning. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)Like so many, this illustration is based on agricultural life.If two animals of different size and strength become yoked together, both will suffer. Similarly, a 'believer' and an 'unbeliever', who are 'yoked together' by marriage, or close ties, will undoubtedly face friction and difficulties....their priorities in life will not match, and pain and discomfort will likely result. (1 Corinthians 15:33)
It is generally not advised because of the strain differences of religion can have in a relationship, but it is not forbidden.Answer It is forbidden, according to the Bible. 2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV:Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers.
I can't say. I don't believe in divorce. As children of God we are to be careful picking a mate. The WORD says not to be unequally yoked. Therefore, even if we choose a mate not according to the word of God, that is the choice we made. God hates divorces also, therefore even if you are unequally yoked, after marriage is not the time to think of correcting what you wronged in the first place. Ask the Lord to change your mate, even though you are going through some trials and tests for some time. I believe you would still be wrong for getting a divorce after the fact.
When you marry outside of your beliefs, there is always one person that has stronger beliefs than the other. Sampson is a good example of what happens when you marry someone of a different faith. Also there was the parable of the unequally yoked oxen. When yoked together, the stronger one will drag the weaker one where they want to go. This can ruin the faith of a believer who is not as strong in their beliefs as their partner is in theirs.
