Did us military give soldiers drugs for combat?

Probably, the navy seals are given amphetamines (speed) daily. But then again maybe not, because soldiers in Vietnam indulged into drugs like heroin and marijuana that would cause them to be jailed 5-10 years when caught and removed from the military.

I'm just trying to find some info so just give it to me, NOW!!!there were 9 million US soldiers draftedI am not sure about those answers, but according to the History Channel:"2/3 of the men who served in Vietnam were volunteers. 2/3 of the men who served in World War II were drafted. [Westmoreland] Approximately 70% of those killed were volunteers. What president decided to take troops out of Vietnam?

I believe it was Richard Nixon in 1973 who began pulling out troops out of VietNam but the final pullout of American troops was in March of 1975. So between 1973 and 1975 we still had soldiers and possibly missions going on in VietNam. I myself am a veteran who served from 1973 to 1976 although I never went into VietNam, I feel justified in being recognized as a VietNam era veteran. Am I wrong in thinking that way ?? This I ask to those who went into VietNam?!?!? Please give me your comments

Examples of absolute and comparative advantage?

Absolute advantage: Vietnam can produce 1000 million tons of rice while South Korea can produce 800 million tons of rice => Vietnam has absolute advantage (since it can produce more than Korea) Comparative advantage: Same example: Vietnam and Korea. To produce 1 more tonnes of rice, Vietnam has to give up producing 3 cars. However, to produce 1 more tonnes of rice, South Korea only have to give up producing 1 cars. => There is a lower opportuniy cost for Korea to produce rice. i.e. South Korea has the comparative advantage.

How did Vietnam's historical development give it an advantage over the American super power?

"How did America's historical development give it an advantage over the British super power" during the American Revolutionary War in 1776?" As you can see that statement can be applied to almost any nation during any time in history. Answer to your question: It had nothing to do with it. The US did not win the Vietnam war for 3 reasons; 1) Couldn't isolate the battlefield (war), 2) Couldn't invade the enemies homeland (North Vietnam), 3) Couldn't use nukes.

How were the North Vietnamese victorious in the Vietnam War if they were convinced by Nixon's bombing campaign to negotiate a ceasefire which would actually give the South Vietnamese the advantage?

A CIA spymaster named Orrin DeForest wrote a great book about Vietnam called "Slow Burn." In it he says the North Vietnamese started violating the ceasefire before the ink was dry.
