∙ 12y agoWhen the shark bit her arm off, her bleeding was arterial and she lost a total of 3 liters of blood (that's 60% of her entire blood). And also since her family friends's reactions were very quick and without delay, and the tourniquet fashioned out of a surfboard's Velcro strap, was a big plus in helping to save her life until she reached a hospital
