There are many things that effect the speed that a BMX can travel at. The most obvious is the weight of the bike and the heavier the bike is the slower the acceleration will be. Also it is down to the gear ratio that you have on your bike, for a fast accelerating bike you want a small tooth sprocket and a height toothed back cassett, but if it is maximum speed you want then you should have a large sprocket ( but this can cause problems when dropping ramps) it all really depends what you use you bike for the most dirt, park or street. Also the barrings in the cassette in the rear wheel can count for different amounts of speed depending if they are sealed or not, also finally if you want to get the most speed out of your bike fast make sure your chain is tight.
It will if you have bmx (or bmx style) cranks.
The speed the fun jumps
60 mp/h
It's much more about technique than it is about speed. With the right technique (bunnyhopping) you can jump a BMX at crawling speed, on flat ground. After that, more speed + bigger ramps = longer/higher jumps.
Because they have small wheels. To get any speed out of a BMX they have to have small sprockets. It's all about ratios.
Yes
no but you can get a dirt bike or a cruiser bike or a speed bike but i havnt seen a bmx bike yet.
the brakes affect the speed
Speed affects the frequency and pressure affects the wavelength.
Full Speed Bmx, Leyland, Preston, Lancashire, England.
gravity
Yes. Gravity affects EVERYTHING.
