well most of the books connect to love and everything in vampire books so I would say about 12 but otherwise you might want to have adult supervision while reading them because some of them go to the extreme. But also if you are a parent read the back of the book or do research on a book suitable for your child's age group. Some books are made for adults, teens, and kids but if you search you can always or usually find one for you. But one of the first I would recommend would be vampire kisses then go on as you or your children get older but always check the book first please some are just to much.

Every child is different, your the parent, relay on your own parenting skills and make your own judgment on what is suitable for your child. I was reading Voltaire at 12, arguably inappropriate for a 12 year old, but it didnt really impact me so much. If you think those books will frighten your children and have them up all night in mums bed hiding under the duvet, then don't let them read them!
