You can get your female Shih Tzu spaded as early as 6 months old. I got mine done at that age, I was a little nervous because I thought this was way too early for her, but the vet reassured me that it was perfectly fine and they prefer to do it that young. Especially before their first heat. She's now a happy, healthy and playful one year old. I'm so glad I got her spaded early! Hope this helps!
