You vote so that you can have your say in an election or proposal
To have a say in how the government operates.
To vote during a Canadian election, one will need a polling card. The polling card will say which polling station one can vote in, usually in the nearby area.
Yes you can. It does matter what party you are in if you think that other person for the other party will better suit the needs and polices you want. There is no law against it. Plus a number of people will say they will vote for one person but later vote for another when they get to the polling place.
There has never been 'age discrimination' for voting. The Constitution originally said you had to be 21 to vote in a Federal Election. The 26th Amendment reduced the minimum age to 18. So you could say that it still discriminates against anyone younger than 18.
What the congress has to do first is they have to get a hole lot of people to say YES to the law. They have to out vote the president.

1.over 18 years old 2.US citizen 3.have stayed in one place in USA for at least 30 days (for ex: say you just moved to D.C from maryland, you have to stay at D.C for 30 days or you can't vote)
Say something people will remember! Use your name in a cool slogan or a catchy phrase to get stuck in peoples head- when it comes time to vote, if the audience has your name stuck in their head with a little rhyme or phrase, they will remeber you and vote for you E.g, if your name is Claire, you could say VOTE C FOR CLAIRE. VOTE C FOR CHANGE. If your name was Kate you could say- Remember me, Kate, coz one day, i'm gonna be your mate! If your name is Jack you could say- Hey it's me, my name is Jack, vote for me, I'll have your back!
