I got my phone at the age of 8 but it was only for emergency uses i didn't use my phone until i got this one I'm using now it a Samsung tocco lite i had two phone before but if/when you get your child a phone i fully recommend this so i would say to give your child a phone at a age of 10/11 depending on how mature they are. they should certanly need one by secondary or its unsafe and they need to be able to communicate with parents/guardians/friends.
