Maybe some one can add to this, however I can find nothing that gives her exact age at the time of John's birth. It is said she was advanced in years and also, "Elizabeth had conceived a son in her old age."
Someone has said that she was in her late 30's early 40's when John the Baptist was born but even though there is no age given, we know that is not even close to being a possible age.
Everyone considered it a miracle and her husband told the angel he was an old man and his wife "well striken" in years. He wouldn't have doubted the angel if she had been in in her forties as lots of women have children in their 40's and even fifties. She had to be at least in her late 60's or older because the angel told Mary that her cousin Elizabeth was having a baby in her old age and even 60 is not considered old age. Linda Marek
Their exact age is not known, but "Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years." (Luke 1:18)
Her exact age is not given. It is only stated that she was post-menopausal.
Yes, according to Christian tradition, Saint Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, gave birth to him in her old age as she was previously thought to be barren.
Elizabeth, in her old age, was chosen by God to be the mother of John the Baptist, the person who would later announce the coming of Our Lord.
Two famously old women who gave birth to children: Sarah, the mother of Isaac, and Elizabeth, the mother of John the baptist.
There are a number of saints named Elizabeth. Please be specific.Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, apparently died of natural causes, probably complications of old age.
No John the baptist comes only in the new testament.
The birth is similar to that of Sarah and Abraham , here Elizabeth is old and barren, and the angel Gabriel. tells the father Zechariah that they would have a son. and you will name it John.

Elizabeth is with child (pregnant). The Bible says this about Mary's visit to Elizabeth:Luk 1:41 When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby moved within her. Elizabeth was filled with the Holy SpiritI'm not sure about a mystery but Elizabeth was old and had no children but she became pregnant about the same time as her cousin Mary. Elizabeth gave birth to a boy he became John the Baptist. Mary gave birth to Jesus. So John the Baptist and Jesus were relatives.John baptised Jesus in the Jordan river and soon after that John was killed.
The parents were old when John was born, so the age is also not certain.

John's birth was miraculous in that his mother Elizabeth had been barren (unable to conceive), and both she and his father Zacharias were well beyond normal childbearing years when John was born (Luke 1:7). Scripture gives no indication that they had any children other than John.
There is no record of Elizabeth's age in the book of Luke. The verse (Luke 1:7)says that both she and Zachariah were "well advanced in years" and that Elizabeth was barren. Since the average age for child bearing usually ends about 48-54, it would be reasonable to suggest that Elizabeth was past that age when she conceived John.
