Queen Hatshepsut was probably between 30-35 when she assumed the throne of Egypt, first as Queen Regent for her nephew, Thutmosis III who was a child of about 6. After about 5 years, she discarded all pretense of reigning in her nephew's name, and took the throne as Pharoah herself. She reigned in her own name for about 17 years.
So in total, Queen Hatshepsut reigned in ancient Egypt into her 22nd year. She was probably anywhere between 50-55 at her death, which by the lifespan for men and women of her time (roughly 35), she would have been considered elderly.
A mummy identified as Queen Hatshepsut was found in Egypt in 2009. Sadly it showed that the Queen suffered from artheritis, Diabetes, but dies from bone cancer which had spread throughout her body.
Unfortunatly, it must have been a very painful and prolonged illness and death for this great Queen.
