Victoria: b.1819 - d.1901.

Became Queen in 1837 - longest reigning British monarch so far (64 years).

So the Victorian Era was 1837 to 1901.

The present monarch, Elizabeth II, became Queen in 1953 so has been on the throne for 60 years - plus a couple of days to date - and looks set to reign for a good few years yet!
