They both work the same. Just the caliber is different. A .22 will hit harder but a .177 will travel farther.
It all depends on your intended use.
Around 20 different companies made .22 airguns during the 70's. Your question is too vague.
Check "Blue Book of AirGuns 7th edition" Both Daisy and Crosman made Airguns under the J C Higgins name for Sears.
They are both very cheap rounds ment for pests and varments. The .22 cal shoots on average 1000fps on the other hand the .17 hmr will easily put out 2250fps Its all up to you and what you prefer have to say the .17 hmr is the better all around choice.
No, the scope is for airguns and .22 rimfire...not airsoft Yes, You can get a 12mm to 20mm adapter.
The Blue Book of Airguns has the info you need. Also, all Sheridan Streaks are .20 caliber, not .22 caliber.
a 17. is a great gun but hard to find ammo for and doesn't have the power of a 22. if your looking for some thing to hunt with use a 22. if your just shooting use a 17. or if your looking for a really cheap to shoot gun get a mini 14 hope this helped
Yes it is possible. Modern Airguns have that capability.

17 out of 22 is 77.27%
If: 11x+13y = 17 Then: 11/17x +13/17y = 1 by dividing all terms by 17 So: 11/17*17/22+13/17*17/26 = 1 because 1/2+1/2 = 1 Therefore: x = 17/22 and y = 17/26 Check: 11(17/22) + 13(17/26) = 17 Check: 11(17/22) times 13(17/26) = 72.25
Benjamin airguns made Ben Franklin brand airguns. The name is no longer used on any Benjamin model. Benjamin airgun bought Sheridan Airgun company years ago and continued to make Sheridan models. Crosman airgun Co bought Benjamin airgun Co. Crosman still manufactures Both Benjamin airguns and Sheridan airguns. Benjamin airguns come in .177 Cal and .22 Caliber Rifles. Sheridan models only come in .20 Caliber rifles. Most large sportingood stores like BassPro and Cabelas sell the air rifles. Or you can order them online ( See the link below.) All Benjamin and Sheridan airguns are Pellet guns not BB guns.
