CO2 is efficient because:
1. It's cheap. Unlike green gas that is usually bought online, not through your local sporting goods store.
2. It's powerful. You will get more shots per CO2 cartridge than one fill up of green gas.

But overall, a good gas pistol would be an overall upgrade to anyones arsenal.
