Marx's writings
Well, if you have ever read any of Marx's writings it quickly becomes obvious that that was his belief. The Soviet system was built directly on Marx's writings. If the US was not already alerted by Marx's writings and needed something else, they were willfully ignorant. During the Great Depression many individual Americans became willfully ignorant due to the apparent failure of US capitalism and the USSR's propaganda (but official US policy remained largely antisoviet as it had been since the Bolshevik revolution). During World War 2 official US policy was to be willfully ignorant, to help keep the USSR as an ally against the Nazis. After the war this willful ignorance gradually became less necessary and it was easier to recognize Stalin's anticapitalistic and antidemocratic activities in the Soviet occupied eastern European zones.
Such as militarism, or belief that nations grew from military power.Oh, and don't leave out anti-communism, anti-capitalism, and racial ideology.
lot and lots of money
Communism
The policy of the US toward the Soviet Union after WWII was shaped by a belief that the Soviets intended to spread Communism throughout the world.
Yes, contrary to populr belief
Capitalism and Calvinism are two completely different topics. Capitalism is a form of government, while Calvinism is a type of religion or belief. They really have no major similarities.
. the belief that heaven was a myth and there was no hereafter
No. Communism is a belief system. Some countries have a Communistic-style government, and each country has its own leader.
Buddhism was an belief in ancient China. With the advent of Communism, the religion has been decimated.
Communism. The world's most referred to example of communism was in the former USSR, known today as Russia. The USSR actually practiced Stalinism, not communism, arguably the reason why that system eventually failed. Cuba and China practice communism quite successfully. Capitalists often refer to poor human rights adherence in China and Cuba, without recognising that their own capitalist nations regularly ignore or subvert human rights as they see fit.
communism believes that all people should be equal. like a family with 7 kids and a family with 3 kids will get the same wage. i stated above that the communist party believe that people are equal but that is unfortunately not the case. when we turn to China for example, millions of people are dying from starvation. where is the equality there? communism also embraces atheism. when you think about it and after reading the book Mao's last dancer, you can see that the main aim and belief of communism is to educate people to serve the cause and continue the regime and to also become a strong and powerful government.
