i don't know but could it be lava? I'm only in year nine so I'm practically guessing and the only hot thing i could now over is lava...
^^ lava is not an element, but my best guess would be Beryllium as it has a boiling point of 2,970 degrees celcius and it is an alkaline earth metal.
Beryllium
Water freezes at 0 degrees Celsius
The element Rubidium is part of the alkali metals group and is silvery-white and soft. It has a melting point of about 40 degrees celsius and a boiling point of 696 degrees celsius. It can ignite randomly in air and reacts violently with water. It can form amalgams with mercury and its flame is a yellowish purple.
Water, 0 degrees Celsius is 32 degrees Fahrenheit which is the freezing point for water.
Barium, melting point 727 degrees Celsius.
Beryllium
The boiling point of Mercury is 357 degrees Celsius.
sulfur
Lithium (Li)
Its called the boiling point and its different depending on the substance.
The boiling point is the temperature at which a substance changes from a liquid to a gas. The boiling point depends on which element you are using. For instance, Water boils at about 100 degrees Celsius; however, oxygen boils at -183 degrees Celsius. As you can see, there is a huge difference which means there are more elements that are way beyond a thousand degrees Celsius.
According to the Wikipedia article on beryllium, its melting point is 1287 degrees Celsius, and its boiling point is 2469 degrees Celsius. Click on the related link below to learn more about the element beryllium.
This element freezes at around 14 K. What is the element and the temperature in degrees Celsius?
Water freezes at 0 degrees Celsius
Sulfur is an element that has an atomic number of 16. It is pale yellow in appearance and also is brittle. It is a non-metal that is a solid at room temperature. Its melting point is 115.21 degrees Celsius, and the boiling point is 444.60 degrees Celsius.
Boiling point of what element? And which temperature system- Celsius, kelvin, Fahrenheit? Specify!
