End panel vents
An air vent is an opening, sometimes covered by a grate, which allows air to circulate around a room.
An air admittance vent is a mechanical sewer vent which allows air to enter into the sewage system but does not allow exhaust of sewer gases.
That's called a vent.

The Fresh Air Inlet (FAI) is where the venting system starts as it draws the colder air into the system and allows it to vent through the vent terminal
Why not, it can pull warm air into the room.
the air coming from the vent is warm
The rear air conditioner of a Sienna will begin to blow warm air if the vent is incorrectly set. This will cause warm air to enter the vents rather than air conditioned air.
It allows air to exit, but is too high for water to go out.
Cold air is denser than warm air. Which allows it to slide under that warm air and displace it.
It allows sewer gases to safely escape.
By removing foul sewer fumes and venting them to the outside air nomally through the vent terminal knowing warm air rises
