Typically, the 5.56x45 62 grain NATO SS109 and M855. It can also fire the 77 grain Mk 262 cartridge. Civilian "M4geries" typically have a 1 in 9 pitch (vs. the 1 in 7 pitch of the mil spec rifles) which can accommodate lighter weight cartridges, such as the 55 grain 5.56x45 M193, and 45 to 55 grain .223 Remington.
The standard 5.56 mm cartridge is centerfire. There IS an adaptor to permit the use of .22 LR rimfire ammo for training.
I use .20g blaster bb's. They are quite expensive, but if you use low quality ammo it will wreck the gun.
yes
AR15, M16, M4, Ruger Mini 14
With a loaded 30-round STANAG magazine, the M4 carbine weighs 3.1 kilograms (6.9 pounds).
m4 <><><> You would have to define better. The M4 has a greater range, the AK a heavier bullet, the M4 a faster bullet, you can carry more ammo for an M4, the AK needs less maintenance, the M4 has a higher rate of fire- and so on.
The M4 carbine fires NATO standard 5.56x45mm ammunition. This is often confused with commercial .223 Remington ammo, which is dimensionally similar. However, they are not the same.
M16 and M4, r700 and M40A3, and I know this isn't over kill but mp5 and m9. Sorry if i forgot one but i don't use over kill.
That depends on which range you mean. Since they both use the same ammo the maximum range is the same 3600 meters. However the effictive ranges are different due to the barrel length difference: The M16A2 max range for a point target is 550m, the M4 is 500m. The M16A2 max range for a area target is 800m, the M4 is 600m.
Their is no NATO M4. NATO countries that use the M4 either contract the purchase or license the production.
I would just get a new m4 mag. They Are cheap and probably isn't worth tryin to fix. How ever it sounds like you have a spring problem with your mag try replacing the spring.
It fires the 5.56x45mm cartridge. It is compatible with the 62 grain M855/SS109 ball, the 64 grain M856 tracer, blank cartridges, and it can use the 77 grain Mk. 262 cartridge. The slow twist of rifling (1 in 7) makes it impractical for use with the older 55 grain M193 ball ammo and 45 - 55 grain commercial .223 Remington loads.
