nubia :)
What did ancient Egyptians call the country that you know ad Sudan
Up until 2011 Sudan had been the largest country in Africa. In July 2011 part of Sudan became independent to form a new country called the Republic of South Sudan, and making Sudan itself smaller. The result of this is that Algeria is now the largest country in Africa, and Sudan is now the third largest.
Well now that Sudan split into Sudan and South Sudan it is no longer the largest country in Africa making Algeria the new largest country in Africa
Kush was a country in what is now mostly Egypt and Sudan, about 1000 BC. Some of the ancient Egyptian ideas can be traced to this culture.
No not anymore Algeria is now.
If you are referring to the empire of ancient Egypt, then it encompasses many different countries, however, the main body of ancient Egypt (that includes the Nile, pyramids, etc) are now contained in Egypt and Sudan.
Sudan is a country split between 2 religions:Christianity and Islam. They are thinking now of spliting Sudan into two different countries.North Sudan is the Islamic side and south Sudan is the christian side.
