Suede is made from the underside of animal skins. The most commonly used animals skins include cattle, lambs, goats, pigs, and deer. By the way, this may not what you want to hear, but many male calves are slaughtered after birth. These are called Veal calves. Veal calves live their lives with chains around their necks, that restrict them from moving or even sitting down, and are killed later.
