There are far too many to list; several species currently die out every day. Some such animals include the dodo bird (disappeared in the 1600's), the thylacine (disappeared in 1936), the passenger pigeon (disappeared in 1914), aurochs (died out in the 1600's).
A more recent extinction is that of the Caribbean monk seal.
