Other large mammals include rhinoceros, orangutan, and African elephants. There are many species of birds: parrots, fruit doves, and the Harpy eagle. Swinging from the tree tops with their lanky, strong arms are Tamarins, kinkajous, sloths, monkeys, gibbons, and langurs. Nocturnal vampire bats feed on the blood of birds and mammals. Also, slithering throughout the rainforests are cobras, pythons, and viper snakes. The rainforest abounds with animals.
