The crocodile is one worth mentioning. Crocodiles can outrun humans over short distances. The female crocodile lays her eggs on dry land.
Well... Land...Also, they relay on Oxygen, Water and Food.
Birds are arborial or live on trees so may called land animals allthoug they also called flying animals
Box turtles are land animals, they are also reptiles. Although they live on land, they do enjoy an occasional dip in shallow water.
Not only does rain help, but also ground water!
alligators need water to survive. They hunt, mostly by ambushing prey from under the water. They are also relatively slow on land, but quick and agile when in the water.
Land would have more species of animals than water but as far as the quantities then water would have a larger number of animals than land.
wekk sea animals live in the water and land animals live on land :)
Sea animals eat and need water and so do land animals.
Australia
Water animals and land animals share several similarities despite their different habitats. Both types of animals have complex organ systems that allow them to perform essential functions such as respiration, digestion, and circulation. They also exhibit similar behaviors such as hunting for food, seeking shelter, and reproducing to ensure the survival of their species. Additionally, many water and land animals have evolved similar adaptations, such as limbs for movement or fins for swimming, to help them thrive in their respective environments.
plants and animals that live on land are called terrestrial animals plants and animals that live in water are called aquatic animals
From what I know about chemical compunds, there is too much H (Hydrogen) in water for land animals to breathe as there is none in air, or close to it. Also, it doesn't include Argon or Nitrogen. For their counterpart, Water animals can not breathe air(Except for dolphins and lung fish) because they do not reach a sufficient amount of Hydrogen. That's my guess anyway.
