wolves are apex predators(they usually don't have to worry about other predators.) but they do have to worry about being hunted by humans and sometimes tigers in eurasia

gray wolves are at the top of the food chain based on were they live.

people do tend to hunt them and they may upset a bear.

Wolfs have few enemies. In most inhabited areas humans are the number one killer of wolfs. In areas where there is a large population of wolfs and not enough for them to eat, the wolfs kill each other out of hunger. Wolfs can be killed by bears and mountain lions if involved in a conflict as well.
