Vampires are the stuff of movies and folk legend. It depends on which version of the stories you are reading. In most stories, vampires do not shape shift, but in some, they can turn into bats (or less commonly, rats).
There is no evidence of the existence of vampires, other than vampire bats. Most people consider them mythological creatures and, as such, do not exist.
There is no evidence of real vampires, other than vampire bats, in this world. Other than as part of folklore, and a popular subject in horror fiction, human vampires are NOT real. They do not exist. You cannot become a vampire.

Vampire bats are very small creatures; they can only consume about 20 grams and still be able to fly. Fictional vampires, on the other hand, are not constrained by physics; they can fly by unspecified supernatural means.
No more so than most other species of bats, and personally I don't think they're nearly as cute as pipistrelles.
I only know one and it's bats.
Other than in TV shows and movies, no. Vampires aren't real.
