Since, air can take any shape or size... or in other words air has no definite volume or shape..
Suppose, we take a water bottle.. The air inside the bottle will aquire the shape of the bottle and the volume of the air inside the bottle will be equal to the volume of the water bottle.. Similarly, in other cases...

This volume can be measured in millilitres.
Liter is a measure of volume. Volume = mass/density.
The volume of a liquid.
mL
a measuring cup/jug(ML would be megaliters (millions of liters) and so you would need very large containers indeed! One megaliter is 10 * 10 * 10 meters = a large swimming pool and has a mass of one thousand tonnes!.mL would be milliliters then you would use a measuring cup, a pipette, or some other handy volumetric measuring equipment.
Displacement
To obtain the density you need to know the mass, and the volume of the object. So you'd have to weigh it using a balance to obtain the mass. The easiest way to measure the volume (particularly if it's an irregular shape) would be via the displacement of water.density = mass / volume
To measure the volume of any liquid, you use a graduated cylinder. (I'm a bit afraid as to why you would want to know that)
There are three ways to measure volume. If you are measuring a liquid, you need a graduated cyliner. If you are measuring the volume of a regular solid, you need a ruler to measure length, width, and height. You would then use the formula V=LxWxH. The third way to measure volume is to use displacement to find the volume of an irregular solid. You would put a certain amount of water in a graduated cylinder, write the starting amount down. Add the irregular solid to the graduated cylinder. Record the ending amount of liquid and subtract the ending amount minus the starting amount.
A graduated cylinder would be the best piece of laboratory equipment to measure a 350 ml of water. It is designed with volume markings and is specifically used for accurate measurements of liquids.
Square meters is a measure of area while cubic meters is a measure of volume. One cannot simply be converted to the other. If the shape is a prism with area of the base equuals 388 square meters, you would multiply 388 by the height in meters to get volume in cubic meters. If it is another shape, you would need to find the volume in cubic meters by another method.
mililiters
You need to measure the mass using appropriate equipment. You can measure the volume of a textbook and a container of milk by measuring its linear dimensions and calculating the volume. It is not at all easy to measure the volume of an air balloon. You cannot use displacement of a fluid (water) because when submerged, the balloon would be experiencing water pressure and so would occupy a smaller volume. You cannot measure it by allowing the air to escape and measure that volume of air because that air will no longer be experiencing the pressure exerted by the material (rubber?) of the balloon. I have no answer to this part. Once you have the mass and volume, the density is merely mass/volume.
My penis
you measure liquid or volume.
You would determine the volume of water it displaces and measure it.
You would use a tape measure.
