The Enter box is the green tick that appears beside the formula bar when you are entering or editing a cell.
It would be a formula that includes absolute references in cells. When such a formula is copied, those cell references will not change. An absolute cell reference includes cell references with two dollar signs in them, like: $A$2.

In Excel an equation can be a formula. All formulas in Excel must start with the equals sign. That is what tells Excel it is a formula.
