Static and Kinetic friction, static is the friction between two objects when they are not moving (relative to each other) an example of this is and object staying still on a sloped surface.
obviously, kinetic friction is the friction between two objects that are moving and making contact, for example wind resistance.
Ok well, facts are true statements about a topic and friction.... is when 2 objects rub against each other and it seems hard to pull or push but its just FRICTION...weird... and i honestly dont know what frictions mean.. :)
Frictions
There are 2 types of frictions: 1. Rolling friction 2. Static friction 3. Fluid friction
Unhelpful frictions are obstacles or barriers that impede progress, efficiency, or communication within a system or process. These can include excessive bureaucracy, conflicting instructions, lack of clarity, or outdated technology. Identifying and removing unhelpful frictions can lead to smoother operations and improved outcomes.
Sand on an icy street.
It slows it down and/or creates heat.
Getting in or out of a bathtub.
Friction belongs in between two contacting surfaces
In the operation of a seesaw, some energy is lost to friction.
To avoid frictions and also prevent from damage of an insects
Fluid friction occurs when a solid object moves through a fluid.
Frictional force is the force that opposes motion between two surfaces.
