Bulimia nervosa is a serious eating disorder. A person suffering from bulimia is said to be bulimic. Some of the signs and symptoms are: Significant weight loss, Lying about eating, Frequent trips to the bathroom after eating, Over-exercising. There are many more symptoms to looks out for. It's not an eating disorder 'caused by', but rather 'classified by' and it is known as Bulimia Nervosa. Google it.

there are 2 types of bulimia, they are Anorexia Nervosa & Bulimia Eating Disorder.
The warning signs of bulimia can be physical symptoms or behaviors. Dark rings below the eyes and eroding teeth and gums can be signs of bulimia. Weight is a lousy indicator. Many bulimics are heavy. They may binge twice as often as they purge. (Purging is painful and harder to do without getting caught.) Disappearing to the bathroom immediately after eating can also be a red flag indicating bulimia. Also, complaints of sensations akin to acid reflux can be another sign.
