Glucose comes from protein which provides living things with enery and food that enable the organism to carry out actions that are needed to stay alive e.g. respiration in animals and photosynthesis in plants.
Protein is necessary for the building and repair of body tissues.
Proteins help in the repair of damaged tissues.
To be used in building structures in living things.
Proteins are considered to be the building blocks of life in organisms. Proteins supply the human body with what is needed to function and regenerate.
Proteins 1.are the building blocks of all living things 2.are used to make enzymes
those organisms which contain chlorophyll can use photosynthesis
Yes, they would be of no use if they could not. Regulatory proteins use four ways to exert their effects.
All living organisms use energy to carry out daily functions
1. All organisms are made of cells 2. The chemical composition of all living things is remarkably similar 3. All living things require energy 4. Organisms can grow and reproduce 5. All living things reproduce or produce more of their own kind
All living things use 20 amino acids to make proteins.
Proteins in living things use proteins in many ways. The three man ways are living, producing cells and hair.
Nitrogen
Living organisms use food for energy. Without energy, no living organism can do anything.
There are many ways that viruses are NOT like living organisms. Viruses differ from living organisms in the following ways: • Viruses cannot reproduce without the help of a host cell • Viruses do not metabolize organic nutrients, but instead use ATP made by the host cell. • Viruses are not separated from their external environment by some sort of barrier like a cell wall or membrane. • Viruses contain either DNA or RNA but never both. A virus can also be like organisms in that they still consist of macromolecules like proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates and lipids just like organisms do.
All living organisms on Earth use DNA as their genetic material. All living organisms use cellular metabolism to obtain and use energy. All living organisms have some form of response to external stimuli. All living organisms undergo reproduction. All living organisms are made up of one or more cells, the basic unit of life. Organisms have many ways of communicating with each other. Some organisms use words or a language, some use body language, and some use calls.

Nitrogen is consumed by different organisms in different ways. Legumes (a type of plant) are able to take nitrogen straight out of the atmosphere (which is roughly 78% nitrogen gas). Animals aren't able to do this so they must obtain their nitrogen by eating substances such as vegetables and meat. We break down proteins (largely from meat) down to their constituents which are amino acids. This is how we obtain our source of nitrogen (amino acids contain nitrogen atoms). We then use these amino acids to build proteins that we need in our body such as tissue, enzymes, antibodies and more.
