Liquid, or 'the liquid state', is one of the four fundamental states of the matter and it is distinguishable because it's the only state with a volume, but without a defined shape, because it's made up of tiny vibrating particles in the matter which are held together by invisible bonds. Four distinctive properties which can be used to describe the liquids are critical temperature, critical pressure, surface tension, and viscosity.
They take the shape of the container they are in.
The atoms cannot be squeezed together or pushed apart.
Liquids have atoms that move around less than gases, but more than solids.
Liquid is the most abundant natural resource on the planet Earth.

You can pour liquids, they can take shape of any container, they can flow, they cannot be compressed and its elements and molecules are not in fixed positions.
it can flow
it has no fixed shape
its particles are more dense than gases but less then solids
its particles aren't really closely packed together (only slight)
it is a non newtonian liquid that has both properties of a liquid and properties of a solid. When it hardens it's considered to just be a solid
Properties differences between liquid and solis water: density, specific heat, standard molar entropy, refractive index, thermal coductivity, the liquid has viscosity etc.
they differ from their molecules when gas molecules have lots of energy ,liquid has less energy, and gas has the smallest amount of energy.
The properties of sugar and water alone is a liquid and a solid. The properties of sugar-water solution is a liquid.
It is red in colour and a volatile liquid
what are some properties of liquid matter?
Properties: liquids have a definite volume but no definite shape.
Mercury? its a liquid metal It has metal properties and liquid properties right? someone let me know.
The five water properties are: 1. Three form's (Solid, Liquid and Gas.) 2. Surface tension 3. Heat capacity 4. Solvent abilities 5. Conductivity
Porridge has all properties of a liquid
the 2 properties are surface tension and viscosity

There are only five properties of gases. These five properties of gases are odor, color, solubility, structure, and chemical reactivity.
From solid to liquid, from liquid to gaseous, from gaseous to liquid, from liquid to solid, and in sublimation from solid to gaseous or the reverse, chemical properties do not change.
Liquid and gas have no explicit shape.
