naming the species, grouping the species.. and more
There are many types of information used by modern taxonomists to classify organisms. Two types of information used for this purpose include whether the organism has a present backbone or not; and the body covering of the organism such as fur, feathers, skin, hair, etc..
i dnt know u tell me?
The types of evidence that are used to classify organisms including genetic similarities.
Scientists use morphological evidence, which includes physical characteristics like body shape and structure, and molecular evidence, which involves analyzing DNA or proteins, to classify organisms systematically.

Scientists use morphological evidence, which involves studying physical characteristics like body shape and structure, as well as molecular evidence, which involves analyzing genetic material such as DNA sequences, to classify organisms into different groups.
I think its To show accurate relationships between types of organisms and to group them into Linnaean categories
Actually there is two main reasons why biologists or scientists general classify things, and they are 1. It enables the organisation of organisms into the 8 kingdoms (kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, Genus and species), which lets the scientists or biologists, see the information about the organisms and the relationships between them. 2. It also makes it easier for scientists to communicate information about the organism and study them to understand their characteristics and behavior etc. This helps keep up with different types of animals. Animals that have a pouch are marsupials. Some have a pouch and 4 legs, some have 2. They will be in the same Genus for having a pouch but not in the same species. The same species would include all with a pouch with 2, and another species for pouches with 4 legs. That is one example out of millions.
because there are so many types of organism that affects our environment and life. : )
Advancements in DNA sequencing technology enabled scientists to identify and distinguish between different types of organisms on a molecular level. This allowed them to uncover two new kingdoms of life: Archaea and Bacteria. By analyzing genetic data, scientists could establish distinct evolutionary relationships and classify these organisms accordingly.
