Americans are given the freedom to bare arms. They are also given the freedom to vote. Lastly, they have the freedom to protest peacefully, or to do just about anything they want, as long as it does no go against the law.

How were african american freedoms limited?

African-American freedoms have been limited in many ways since they were kidnapped by the hundreds of thousands from Africa and brought over to America as slaves in the 1600's. They were emancipated in 1863, but they were still far from equal. Segregation was an instituted policy until the 1950's, and millions of them still live in abject poverty in ghettos. Their freedoms are still being limited.
