They are talking to a servant about hiring twenty new cooks. They seem to be confident that they can bring Juliet around to their way of thinking.
Friar Lawrence had a schedule set up whereby Juliet would take the potion Wednesday night and wake up 42 hours later for Romeo to come and get her, sometime Friday night. Presumably he sent Friar John with that message. But when Capulet set the wedding for Wednesday morning, Juliet had to take the potion on Tuesday night, a day earlier. So it didn't matter that Friar John's message did not get through because Romeo would have come a day too late anyway. However, for some reason, the friar does not seem to be worried that Romeo is not going to be warned to come Thursday to get Juliet.
You're a fool for doing that

Romeo and Juliet, obviously, are the main characters.Other characters essential to the story are Friar Lawrence, Mercutio, Tybalt and Capulet. Not Benvolio, or even the Nurse. Here's the story as compact as you can get it: Romeo meets Juliet at a party. Tybalt objects to his presence but is prevented from doing anything at that time. Romeo and Juliet pledge their love to each other and Friar Lawrence marries them secretly. Later, Tybalt finds Romeo with Mercutio. Romeo is unwilling to fight Tybalt and Mercutio takes the mickey for him. Romeo is incensed and kills Tybalt. He then (or shortly thereafter) flees as he is wanted by the law. Capulet insists that Juliet should marry another man, and she seeks the friar's advice. She fakes her death, and Romeo returns to complete the suicide scene at the end.RomeoJulietMercutioBenvolioNurseFriar LawrenceTybaltMain Charcters; Romeo, Juliet, Lady Capulet, Capulet, Tybalt, Friar Lawrence.

Because Shakespeare is a genius and he knows what hes doing so don't question it

Romeo sees Juliet standing on her balcony, professing her love for him and lamenting the fact that he is a Montague. He listens to her speech and then reveals himself, leading to their famous dialogue and their plan to marry in secret.
The nurse delays telling Juliet about the arrangements for her marriage to Paris because she is torn between her loyalty to Juliet and her duty to the Capulet family. She may also be trying to protect Juliet from the distressing news or looking for a way to soften the blow before revealing it.
Hard to say. We hear Romeo say what he thinks of Juliet ("I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.") then our attention is drawn to Tybalt and his conversation with Capulet. When Romeo next speaks he is holding Juliet's hand ("If I profane with my unworthiest hand . . .") What are Romeo and Juliet doing when Tybalt and Capulet are fighting? The text does not give us much help, except that Tybalt and Capulet actually discuss Romeo at the beginning of their conversation, and so presumably look at him, so it would not work to have him in a clinch with Juliet at this point. In some productions, Romeo sneaks up on Juliet and grabs her hand, so she does not see him until he is already holding her hand and asking to kiss her. In these cases, you could describe her reaction as amazement.
