Egg Moves are a game mechanic in the main series of Pokémon games that allows you to pass over moves from Parents to their offspring that the offspring species is not naturally able to learn or be taught such as one of Pikachu's egg moves is Present and Delibird is a Pokémon that naturally knows Present and in order for Pikachu to know Present then you would need to put a female Pikachu in the Daycare with a male Delibird that knows Present and then the Daycare Man will eventually give you a Pokémon Egg that will hatch into a Pichu that knows Present.
In Pokémon Pearl, Egg Moves are moves that Pokémon can't naturally learn through leveling up or through machines such as TMs. Pokémon learn Egg Moves via breeding two parents together as long as they are of opposite genders and they're in the same breeding group however the Father is the Pokémon that needs to know the move that you want to pass down as the Egg Move and 4 moves can be passed down as egg moves provided the Father knows four Egg MOves.
Egg moves are only passed down by a father evolved form of whatever Example skitty's evolved form is delcatty, if delcatty is a boy its egg moves such as thunderbolt will be passed down to its baby.
They're moves the Pokemon can only learn as an egg. When breeding two Pokemon, the baby will be the species of the female, and have the moves of the father. If you're breeding with a Ditto, the baby will always have the species and moves of the non-Ditto Pokemon.
look up on Bulbapedia what egg moves that pokemon can learn, then teach the move to the father, and leave him and a suitable female pokemon in the day care. The pokemon will hatch with the egg move.
An egg moves from the ovary to the uterus, through the Fallopian tubes.
For any Pokemon game that involves or includes egg moves, the move learned, differs between different Pokemon. In the games, egg moves are specific moves, that are passed down from parent to child, and only specific moves in games, like Surf, can be passed down. For an egg to learn a move, you must teach the parent Pokemon, or the Pokemon in the Daycare, an appropriate move that CAN be passed down, and that can be learned by the Pokemon.
Its Tail
That is the tube in which the egg moves to the uterus from the ovaries.
You must have a female starter. Then, put it in the Day-Care with another Pokemon in its Egg Group(Example: F. TREECKO + M. ROSELIA = TREECKO EGG) You can use this to make Pokemon with special moves called Egg Moves.
A Pokemon inside an egg will usually have the moves that its father had. Some moves cannot be passed down though, such as 'volt tackle'. Also, if you breed two Pokemon in an egg group, instead of same species, many moves may not be passed down because they're incompatible to that Pokemon. For example, if you breed a male togekiss with a female pikachu, the resulting Pichu will not have togekiss' special moves like Extremespeed and Aura sphere.
i think the Pokemon that made the egg with ditto could have an HM move example:surf then it goes to the egg and the Pokemon that came from the egg knows that move.
let him hatch first.
