Jupiter has 63 moons. [See link for more information]
the main moons on Jupiter are Amalthea, Io, Europa, and Callisto
Actually the four largest moons on Jupiter are Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. An ocean of liquid water is hypothesized to exist beneath the cracked, frozen ice crust of Europa. we are unsure if this mean that life could exist on it.

-Ganymede, Is the largest moon in the solar system ,it even bigger than Mercury.
-Europa,This may be the smallest of jupiter's galilean satelites but europa have many waters beneath its surface
-Callisto,an cratered and extremely old place
-Io,With over 400 active volcanoes, Io is the most geologically active object in the Solar System.
Jupiter has 67 moons. Some of the moons include Ganymede, Io, Europa, Callisto, Amalthea, Himalia, Adrastea, as well as Elara.
Typical of moons of the outer solar system nearly all of Jupiter's moons are covered in ice. Only Io, the innermost moon is not and that it because it is powerfully volcanic.
All the planets orbiting the sun can be called moons of the sun
That's called "full moon".
No. Mercury and Venus have no moons.
Yes, all the outer planets have at least a dozen moons.
At this time (mid-2014), 67 moons of Jupiter are confirmed. They are all in orbits around the planet. None are 'on' it.
The volcano lo and all its moons. it also has the biggest storm in the solar system
Typical of moons of the outer solar system nearly all of Jupiter's moons are covered in ice. Only Io, the innermost moon is not and that it because it is powerfully volcanic.
The number of moons on Uranus is 27, they all have names.
Abolutely not! (Mercury has no moons, at all.) :-)
They all are affected but the most noticeable is Io. There are often plumes of dust and gas showing from volcanic activity.
Venus has no moons at all, not even one.
Satellite's, anything that circles a planet.
27 and they all have names
cause they stay i orbit because of jupiters gravity not there own so jupiter would suck the gas from its moons but not vice versa
all i can think of is its moon Triton.
Uranus has 27 moons. The 5 major moons are Ariel, Miranda, Oberon, Titania, and Umbriel.
