Led plant lights are exactly what is stated , light emitting diodes. The same kind of lights you can expect to find in any modern flashlight and new tvs,

But none of the above are good for growing plants.

Plants need specific light spectrums to grow , mostly blue and red spectrums. most led grow lights on the market will be a mixture of those 2 colours and sometimes more including yellow, orange and white or wide spectrum.
