Probably NOT A GOOD IDEA! Librium is used for anxiety and very popular for alcohol detox. Drinking alcohol and taking Librium will increase the side effects and could cause you to have seizures, coma, or death.

The side effects of drinking too much is Alcoholism. Alcohol is addictive. It is a depressant drug that makes you less able to think and perform any physical tasks. Alcohol damages your liver and all the other organs of your body.

Drinking on top of taking Librium - another depressant drug - is like taking twice as much drug. Both alcohol and Librium cause drowsiness, slowed thinking, blurred vision, dizziness, confusion, clumsiness, unsteadiness, and liver damage.
