I think their backbone is very flexible to, allowing it to arch further than normal, so they can get their back legs quite far forwards, giving them a large range of motion for which to push themselves forward on.
They also have small paws to run quickly and a bigger nose to inhale better.

No animal can survive without both. Even having legs is a physical adaptation. If an animal had no behavioral adaptations, it would just sit in one place and die of starvation. So jackrabbits have both physical and behavioral adaptations.
