Well, if it was a large predator for instance like an owl then it would probably need to have a keen sense fo vision to spot the mouse or if failing that then another way to find it like trying to hear it. Randomn fact: an owl can hear a mouses heartbeat over nine metres away. Another adaptation would be camoflague to be able to sneak up on the mouse undetected or failing that super quick movements so the mouse wouldn't be able to escape.

Well, a mouse will completely explore their environment first. Then they may mark their territory and note the smell of their new environment as the smell of home. They will also begin to personalise their environment, mice get a lot of entertainment by making new and elaborate nests for them to sleep in. A mice that has no nesting material may even suffer from deprivation. Mice like any place there is bedding, food, water and shelter. This makes them very easy pets to care for.
