Televangelism, you could say, is an advantage. It is thoroughly evil and wrong, but at the same time it actually does work. Evil and wrong because those who practice it exploit the innocent minds of Christians who believe it's real, and makes them millions, maybe even billions. Very bad intentions. It works because which those at the top are getting rich, their messages are getting out and spread, and more and more people are attracted to religion as it becomes suddenly more feasible when you've got the person next to you 'overcome by the Spirit' and speaking tongues, rolling on the floor. This means that Televangelism, therefore is an advantage for religion, though not necessarily the right approach to such.

YouTube is a good way for some minority religions to convey their views. It can helps us to understand why they believe what they do; they don't stick by their old religions because they're stubborn and won't listen to a 'more plausible' religion, but because their religion is actually worth something. This means that people are more open to make their minds up. It's no longer a matter of 'Born into a Muslim family, become a Muslim', but 'Born into a growing and communicating world and making your own mind up yourself.'.
