Aluminum's atomic number is 13. :p
answer 2. Aluminium as a metal has great use because of its ductility, softness, (effective) corrosion resistance, attractive colour, and is not too expensive. Supplies of the metal are only limited by the energy needed to refine it.
It cannot withstand direct contact with many common metals (copper, zinc, steel), but with appropriate care, it may be joined to some of these. Such as in electrical wiring.
It needs more skill to weld than steel, and is difficult to solder.
It reacts very badly to Mercury. Mercury will continuously amalgamate with aluminum but the aluminum then exposed on the surface of the amalgam immediately oxidizes thus freeing up the mercury for more amalgamation. A truly vicious circle. Air carriers treat it like the plague!!
1) Is a strong, malleable metal element.
2) Has a low density.
3) Is resistant to corrosion.
4) It's a good conductor of heat and electricity
4) Can be polished to give a highly reflective surface.

Aluminum is the third most abundant element in the earth's crust, after only oxygen and silicon, and it is the most abundant of all metals. It constitutes 8.1% of the crust by weight and 6.3% of all the atoms in the crust. Because it is a very active metal, aluminum is never found in the metallic form, but only in a wide variety of earthy and rocky minerals, including feldspar, mica, granit…

Name as many properties of aluminum s you can think of and tell which ones are chemical properties?
Very light, highly alloyable to a wide variety of specifications, tremendous strength-to-weight ratio.
what are some uses of aluminum
aluminum malleable shiny
FALSE
No it wold not because Gallium is in the same family as Aluminum and therefore has similar properties to Aluminum. Aluminum does not react with acetic acid.
Color is a physical property.
Aluminum has one stable isotope = Aluminum-27 or 27Al
No. The aluminum can does not have magnetic properties.
An atom is simply the smallest component of an element having the chemical properties of the element. An aluminum atom, is simply that, the smallest part of aluminum having the chemical properties of aluminum.

There are three physical properties of aluminum foil. The three properties are solid, ductile, and malleable.
Nothing has the same properties as the element Aluminum. It is unique from everything else in the world...
shiny,non magnetic , recyclable
FALSE
Malleable, brittle, ductile
Aluminium is very versatile. Some of it's properties include lightweight, conducts electricity etc
solubleSoluble in water.
