they can't be called people because they are way to different from animals. Example of what i am saying. A monkey is really hairy and has fur and people don't have fur. Some animals walk on 4 legs and we walk on two. We can talk in different laguages and can talk but animals can't. We scream or shout but we don't roar or say woof or meow.
