Maglev trains require a dedicated right-of-way and environment which is both costly and severely impacts the appearance and view along its entire right-of-way. There are no bad things that are obvious about maglev trains, only the system and environment upon which the maglev trains are operated.
Well, the seats sometimes have chewing gum and things stuck to them. They can get quite full and you might have to stand up or people might fall on you when the bus turns corners. The fares can get quite expensive sometimes. You never really know if they're going to be on time or if they might break down on the way to your 'destination'. You never know what type of passenger is going to get on and you might end up sitting next to a serial killer like the people on the bus when that old guy got on who'd killed his wife. But apart from that, buses are a good means of transport and they are better for the environment.
They are not bad! Trains are great for getting cargo from one place to another quite literally with less fuel than what semi trucks consume when they haul cargo from point A to point B. You can haul a lot more cargo with a train than you can with semi, that's for sure!
they cost money and were dangerous to build
there are no bad things about the nuclear power reactors
It depends what kind of sensor you mean. There are lots of sensors in trains already... for such things as heat/smoke detectors, doors (which stop the train moving unless the doors are closed, fuel, signal sensors..... etc
Elijah McCoy
it is flammable
pros are good things about something "cons" are the bad things about it.
Bad Day for Trains was created in 1992.
Yes, there is such things as Christmas trains or Holiday trains.
ppl
trains improved things for people by helping them get places that are far....they did not use a plane because they are too expensive.
usually trains are used for things like hay or like things to ship over some times liquid
They are very costy and need high quality to run and opperate
The same things modern trains are used for: hauling cargo and people.
They can separate family's by death and by travel. And people might not be able to pay for the cost of the travel. so the impact that the trains have on the u.s, can be sad but it is possible to have a bad impact on the u.s.
One of the negatives about trains is the fact that they do not travel that fast when comparing them to airliners. Also, it is not cost effective anymore compared to cars and planes.
The first trains were built in England in the 1820's. Since then, they have evolved from running in a little circle for pleasure; to the long trains that haul goods and other things today.
GOOD: They are the cheapest way to carry bulky freight [grain, coal, etc.] long distances other than water transportation where it exists. BAD: Unlighted grade crossings and drivers who think they can beat the train!
Yes! Every year, CTA workers (in Chicago) make their trains look so beautiful with Christmas decorations. These trains are no longer 'regular trains', they are now Christmas trains, or Holiday trains. There are such things as CTA Christmas trains. Chicago Transit Authority workers work hard to make their trains look cool. These designs are very awesome. CTA workers are super great and their trains look so beautiful! They are called the 'Santa Express' in Christmas decorations.
