∙ 13y agoThe Ornithological Society published The Field Guide to the Birds of New Zealand, by Heather and Robertson. And there are also checklist books. I didn't count them, but there would be more than a thousand species. The above books will cover all of NZ's territories, including the sub-antarctic islands and the Ross Dependency in Antarctica.
