Judging from their way of life, I think they wouldn't tolerate it easily. They're all about the mind of how you are naturally without any enhancements. I guess you could say they're high already on life and respecting nature. But... I'm sure they're aware what it does to the mind, perhaps they would understand for a westerner to use it for meditation.
They know our way of life is hectic, confusing, non organic and completely artificial. So smoking pot in our culture makes some sense, for me it's completely opened my mind to a whole new level. To a non smoker it won't make sense, but it's changed the way I perceive life.
