The central belief of Christianity i s found at John 3:16. This tells us that God love us so much that he gave his only son so that we may have a chance to live forever. But the overall theme of the Bible is the sovereignty of Jehovah and his right to rule over humans. This was challenged in the book of Genesis 3:1-5.
